2023 Successful applicants for Building a Skilled Workforce - Existing Worker Fund (ST059)

The Existing Worker Fund is providing more than $3.2 million in funding to Skills Tasmania endorsed RTOs to deliver nationally recognised training in either skills sets or qualifications for up to 3,875 existing workers. This funded training will allow employees to gain skills and knowledge to assist them to perform their jobs more effectively, efficiently, safely and confidently. New skills and knowledge for employees also supports future career planning and progression.

Successful applicants for the 2023 Building a Skilled Workforce – Existing Worker Fund (ST059) have been announced.

2023 Successful applicants for Building a Skilled Workforce - Jobseeker Fund (ST060)

The Jobseeker Fund will provide nearly 1,500 free training places to help Tasmanian jobseekers, and people who are looking to upskill or gain new skills outside of their current employment, to access training, and learner support that will lead to improved employment outcomes and job opportunities.

The Jobseeker Fund is supported by the 12-month skills agreement, a partnership arrangement between the Australian and Tasmanian governments, which support entry level qualifications and skill sets for priority groups in areas of skills demand in Tasmania.

Successful applicants for the 2023 Building a Skilled Workforce – Jobseeker Fund (ST060) have been announced.
