VET Information Standard update

The Vocational Education and Training Data Streamlining program aims to modernise the way VET student activity data is collected, managed and used by the training sector with a focus on improving outcomes for the sector at a national level.

Working in partnership with the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, state and territory training authorities and the VET sector regulators, the National Centre for Vocational Education Research is leading the development of a new VET Information Standard to replace AVETMISS 8.0.

Regional Data Enrolments Tool launched in beta

Skills Tasmania’s Regional Data Enrolments Tool is now live.

The tool provides a snapshot of the number of government-funded vocational education and training enrolments in Tasmania by local government delivery location or student residence.

It has been developed to provide a snapshot of VET delivered in Tasmania. Currently in its beta phase the Regional Data Tool is available for anyone to view and may be of specific interest to registered training organisations, Jobs Hubs and industry groups. It is available on the Skills Tasmania website
