The Minister for Education and Training is seeking expressions of interest from individuals who wish to be considered for appointment as a member of the Tasmanian Traineeships and Apprenticeships Committee (TTAC).
The TTAC oversees the administration of apprenticeships, traineeships and vocational placements in Tasmania while advising the Minister responsible for education and training on these systems.
Applications are sought from individuals who have knowledge and experience in areas relevant to the vocational education and training sector, such as apprenticeships and traineeships, employee relations, workforce development and industrial arrangements.
The term of appointment for the position will commence on or after 1 November 2019, for a period of up to three years.
Applicants must demonstrate they have the knowledge and experience to meet the responsibilities of a member of a statutory committee.
