The 2018 Tasmanian Vocational Education and Training Student Survey collects information from students who participated in vocational education and training (VET) in 2018 which was fully or partially funded by Skills Tasmania. It focuses on the reasons why students undertook the training and whether this training met its intended purpose. Also, for students who did not complete their training, the survey collects information on the reasons why they did not complete.
Enterprise Marketing and Research Services (EMRS) is conducting the survey on behalf of Skills Tasmania.
Skills Tasmania is asking RTOs for assistance in promoting the survey to former students, to encourage more people to complete the survey. RTOs may also want to make current students aware that they may be approached via email or SMS to complete the survey once they complete or withdraw from their training.
See below for a Student Fact Sheet as well as sample text you can use for your website or newsletter, email and social media communications to promote the survey.
