Apprenticeship Network Providers (ANPs) are contracted by the Commonwealth Government to provide information, advice and support to employers, apprentices and trainees about apprenticeships traineeships. They assist with the sign up of training contracts, as well as assess, approve and process the payment of Commonwealth incentives.

The Guide for Apprenticeship Network Providers (coming soon) and the Guidelines for Apprenticeship Network Providers - preparing training contracts in Tasmania provide information for ANPs to assist them in the preparation, lodgement and subsequent management of training contracts in accordance with the requirements of Tasmanian legislation and policy. They support Apprenticeship Network Provider staff access up-to-date guidelines to assist in the sign-up process and all other amendments throughout the training contract.

The Training and Workforce Development Act 2013 establish and grants powers to Skills Tasmania and the Tasmanian Traineeships and Apprenticeships Committee and provides the legislative authority for the administration of apprenticeships, traineeships and vocational placements.

TrainingNet is a web-based system provided by Skills Tasmania to allow the exchange of information between Skills Tasmania, ANPs, GTOs, RTOs and schools. The information is limited to training contracts of apprentices, trainees and their employers
