3 Mar 2020 - Skills Checkpoint for Older Workers
Skills Checkpoint for Older Workers is an Australian Government-funded initiative to enable older Australian workers and recently unemployed older Australians to remain in, or re-enter the workforce.
The initiative provides personalised advice and guidance on upskilling for a current job, transitioning into new roles within a current industry or pathways to new careers, including options for relevant education and training.
Potential students eligible to participate in the Skills Checkpoint program may access a Federal Government subsidy towards the cost of training (up to $2000 with the participant making a co-contribution to match the Government subsidy).
For further information about the initiative, please refer to the Skills Checkpoint for Older Workers Fact Sheet.
