Workforce development

It enables employers to attract, retain and develop their workforce and increases the capacity of individuals to participate and be productive in the workforce. It encourages partnerships and a better understanding of the impacts of skills deployment.

Actions underpinning the Workforce Development theme:

  • Make it easier for businesses to engage with training
  • Fund more Innovative Partnerships
  • Invest more in management expertise
  • Assist businesses to recruit, retain and develop staff and utilise skills
