Skills Tasmania is leading the implementation of the Tasmanian Skills Strategy. This provides, for the first time in Tasmania, a strategic approach to skills formation based on three drivers: participation, productivity and population.

The Strategy is a multi-year plan, which establishes targets, defines current and planned actions and provides strategic direction around skills for employers, learners and service providers.

The Strategy has been developed in consultation with industry, training providers, peak bodies and government agencies.
