Skills Tasmania has set up an ongoing register of qualified support officers with experience in adult literacy* teaching and assessment to support the Tasmanian Adult Literacy Action Plan; 26 TEN Grants Program.
It is expected that a number of full-time, part-time and casual positions will be available for the life of the Program (2015).
Skills Tasmania uses the register to assist employers and community organisations to source support officers for their projects. We are looking for support officers in every region in Tasmania.

As a large component of the the Program involves teaching in the workplace we strongly encourage teachers with experience and knowledge of workplace practices to apply.
