Senior Workforce Development Consultants

A principal activity of a Senior Workforce Development Consultant is to consult with industry representatives, groups and individuals. They gather industry intelligence and support workforce development and planning in industry. Visit the Workforce Development page page for more details.


Workforce Development Consultants (Training Consultants)

Skills Tasmania has Training Consultants located through Tasmania. Consultants are available in Hobart and Devonport to assist Apprenticeship Network Provider staff deal with training contract amendments, and provide advice and guidance to trainees/apprentices.


Special Events Co-ordinator

The Special Events Co-ordinator is responsible for the Tasmanian Training Awards, WorldSkills Australia regional competitions and the Australian Training Awards (within the state) - see 'Awards and competitions' - as well as the Skills and Workforce Development Conference. Grants programs

Skills Tasmania is responsible for a number of grants programs, which are all listed on the Funding / Subsidies for training page. Please refer to individual programs for contact details; the relevant program manager or officer will be able to assist you if you have any queries regarding the program (i.e. guidelines, eligibility requirements and application). The Agreements and Payment Management team can assist you with any reporting and payment enquiries.


Training operations staff

Staff within Skills Tasmania's Training operations section deal with a range of administrative and payment issues to support the registration and amendment of training contracts for traineeships and apprenticeships in Tasmania.
