Business in the 21st Century - Growth through Skills and Innovation
Wrest Point Conference Centre, Hobart
Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 May 2008
Outcomes
This event was part of the 2008 Australian Innovation Festival.
The theme of Skills Tasmania Conference 2008 “growing your business through skills and innovation” was used as a springboard to seriously address issues surrounding skill acquisition and productivity across the state.
The conference had a strong national and international flavour with speakers and presenters travelling from France and New Zealand. They joined internationally-renowned Australians to make this year’s conference one of the most interesting ever held.
Over two days the conference featured fifteen workshops, a trade exhibition, conference dinner with guest speaker Stan Alves OAM and a special breakfast session with Professor Jonathan West from the Australian Innovation Research Centre.
