RTOs can access funding for professional development to assist their staff in the delivery of training. There are several national professional development projects where RTOs can apply for funding. These generally are offered at the beginning of each year.
Reframing the Future
Funded on an annual basis through the Australian and State and Territory Governments, Reframing the Future allocates funding for project teams to conduct staff development and change management activities that assist in the implementation of the national training system. Reframing the Future provides limited matched funding for approximately 200 projects every year (See 'Funded Projects' on the Reframing the Future website).

Flexible Learning
The Australian Flexible Learning Framework is a national initiative designed to accelerate the take-up of flexible learning in vocational education and training. Flexible learning expands choice on what when where and how people learn by supporting different styles of learning including e-learning.
