Status of Training Package

Principles underpinning Training Package review

Consistent with DEST's continuous improvement philosophy, Training Packages are subject to a structured review beginning 18 months after endorsement. DEST has published timetables and established consultative processes with industry, training organisations and state and territory training authorities to review the suitability and implementability of endorsed training packages.

Stage 1: Feedback is sought from stakeholders in all jurisdictions.

Stage 2: A plan for revisions and additions to the Training Package is produced.

The review is open and ongoing, however, any stakeholder may pass on concerns about the suitability and implementability of Training Packages at any time to either the appropriate Industry Skills Council or Industry Development and Innovation.
